Pavones, Costa Rica is the home to the second longest left hand break in the world. It’s a small town that fills up quickly with surfers when there are waves. The town is located very far south, about an hour away from the Panama border.
The town itself is considered ‘off-the-grid’. In town you can find 3 supermarkets, a gift shop, a surf shop, a hand full of restaurants and a lot of nature.
The vibe in Pavones is unmatched to the rest of Costa Rica. Unlike touristy places like Jaco or Tamorindo, Pavones is the definition of ‘Pura Vida’. A tranquil or peaceful place that has been practically untouched.
